Privacy Policy

This notice explains how Anveeksha Technologies Pvt. Ltd. (Anveeksha) collects, uses, shares, and protects your personal data, and the rights you have. We apply a single, consistent standard to everyone who uses this site, and we comply with the data protection laws that apply to you, including India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (the “DPDP Act”) and, for visitors in the EEA and UK, the EU/UK General Data Protection Regulation (the “GDPR”).

Effective 6 June 2026

1. Who we are

Anveeksha Technologies Pvt. Ltd., operating as Anveeksha, is the data controller (the “Data Fiduciary” under India's DPDP Act) responsible for your personal data. We are based in India. For any question about this notice or your data, contact us at privacy@anveeksha.in.

2. Who and where this applies

This notice applies to visitors worldwide. Your specific statutory rights depend on where you live and which law applies to you. We honour the rights described below to the extent the applicable law grants them, and where laws differ we apply the protection that is most favourable to you wherever practical.

3. Personal data we collect

We collect only the personal data you choose to give us, plus the minimum needed to run the site:

  • Contact form: your name, email address, optional company name, and the message you send.
  • Newsletter: your email address.
  • Essential technical data: standard server logs (e.g. IP address, browser type, timestamp) kept briefly by our hosting provider for security and reliability.
  • Local storage on your device: a small flag that remembers you have seen our data notice, and short-lived timestamps used to rate-limit form submissions and prevent abuse. These stay in your browser and are not personal profiles.

We do not use advertising or marketing cookies and we do not build cross-site advertising profiles. With your consent, we use Google Analytics to understand how the site is used (see Cookies and local storage). We do not knowingly collect special / sensitive categories of data through this site.

4. Why we use it, and our legal basis

We process your personal data for these purposes:

  • To respond to an enquiry, audit request, or consultation you initiate.
  • To send you our newsletter, where you have asked us to.
  • To operate, secure, and maintain the website and prevent abuse.
  • To comply with legal or regulatory obligations.

Depending on the applicable law, our legal basis is one or more of: your consent; steps taken at your request before or under a contract; our legitimate interests in responding to you and keeping the site secure (balanced against your rights); and legal obligation. Under the DPDP Act we rely on your consent and the “certain legitimate uses” it permits, such as responding to a request you make to us. We use your data only for the purpose stated when you provide it.

6. Cookies and local storage

Strictly necessary (always on): we use a small amount of browser local storage to remember your cookie choice and short-lived timestamps that rate-limit form submissions to prevent abuse. These are not used for tracking. Our fonts are self-hosted, so loading the site makes no third-party font request.

Analytics (optional, consent-based): with your consent we use Google Analytics 4 to measure how the site is used (for example, pages visited and aggregate trends). It sets first-party cookies (such as _ga and _ga_*) and is provided by Google. We enable IP-anonymisation and Google Consent Mode.

Google Analytics does not load at all unless you click “Accept” in the consent banner. If you decline, no analytics cookies are set. You can withdraw analytics consent at any time by clearing this site's data in your browser (which shows the consent prompt again) or by contacting us at privacy@anveeksha.in. For more detail, see Google's Privacy Policy and the Google Analytics opt-out add-on.

7. Sharing and service providers

We never sell or rent your personal data. We share it only as needed to deliver the purposes above:

  • Form delivery: contact and newsletter submissions are delivered to us through FormSubmit (formsubmit.co), a third-party processor that forwards them to our inbox.
  • Analytics (with your consent): Google Analytics, provided by Google, processes site-usage data when you accept analytics.
  • Hosting and infrastructure providers that serve the website and retain brief technical logs.
  • Professional advisers, or authorities, where we are legally required to disclose.

These providers act as our processors under contract and may only use the data on our instructions.

8. International data transfers

We are based in India and some of our service providers may process data in other countries. Where personal data is transferred across borders, including out of the EEA or UK, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses or an equivalent lawful transfer mechanism, and we comply with cross-border transfer rules under applicable law, including the DPDP Act and any Government of India restrictions in force. In particular, if you accept analytics, Google Analytics may process data on Google's infrastructure, including in the United States.

9. How long we keep it

We keep personal data only for as long as needed for the purpose it was collected, or as required by law. Enquiry data is retained while we are in contact with you and for a reasonable follow-up period; newsletter data is kept until you unsubscribe; technical logs are kept briefly. After that we erase or anonymise it.

10. How we protect it

We apply reasonable, risk-appropriate security safeguards, including access controls, encryption in transit, and least-privilege handling. No method of transmission is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your data and, in the event of a personal-data breach, to notify the relevant supervisory authority (such as India's Data Protection Board or a competent EU/UK authority) and affected individuals as and when the applicable law requires.

11. Your rights

Subject to the law that applies to you, you have the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you and information about how we use it.
  • Rectify (correct, complete, or update) inaccurate data.
  • Erase your data (“right to be forgotten”).
  • Restrict or object to certain processing, including processing based on legitimate interests.
  • Data portability — receive your data in a portable format where applicable.
  • Withdraw consent at any time.
  • Nominate another person to exercise your rights in the event of death or incapacity (DPDP Act).
  • Lodge a complaint with a regulator (see below).

To exercise any right, email privacy@anveeksha.in. We respond within 30 days (or sooner where the law requires) and may need to verify your identity first. There is normally no charge. You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you give us.

12. Grievance redressal and complaints

If you have a concern about how we handle your data, please contact our Grievance Officer first at privacy@anveeksha.in. We acknowledge and aim to resolve grievances within 30 days.

If you are not satisfied, you may complain to your data protection regulator: in India, the Data Protection Board of India under the DPDP Act; in the EEA, your local supervisory authority; in the UK, the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO); or the equivalent authority where you live.

13. Children's data

This site and our services are intended for businesses and professionals and are not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal data from a child below the age of digital consent in their jurisdiction (for example, 18 under India's DPDP Act, or 13–16 under the GDPR depending on the country) without verifiable consent of a parent or lawful guardian, and we do not undertake tracking, behavioural monitoring, or targeted advertising directed at children. If you believe a child has provided us data, contact us and we will delete it.

14. Changes to this notice

We may update this notice as our practices or the law evolve. We will revise the “Effective” date above and, for material changes affecting consent, ask for your consent again.
